What It Is
The PREMIER MINDSET PROGRAM is an online, e-learning course that walks student-athletes through the mental training techniques most directly related to performance enhancement. All of its content was developed by the licensed sports psychologists at Premier Sport Psychology and offers athletes of all levels a convenient resource to turbo-charge their mental game whether they have any experience with sport psychology or not. Student-athletes will learn skills to enhance their focus, boost their motivation, manage their energy levels, and improve and maintain their confidence in good times and bad.

Your student-athletes are likely concerned with their performance on the field, court, rink, track, or mat. We can help with that! Our sport psychology program was developed to enhance performance, accelerate learning and skill development, improve focus, and increase motivation, confidence, and consistency. Our process will require your athletes to identify areas of their lives that are healthy and those that are unhealthy to develop personalized strategies and manage the highs and lows of competition. Additionally, sport/life balance every student-athlete is forced to contend with early and often in their careers. Picking up these skills correlates directly with overall well-being and more consistent performances on and off the field.
Sport psychology (and the Premier Mindset Program) gives athletes a language to describe their emotions, their thoughts, their hopes, and their fears. It encourages them to communicate with their teammates, their coaches, and their family members — whether it be to create accountability and structure in their routines or to gain strength and understanding from their support systems. This opens the door to healthy, productive conversations that many student-athletes previously found difficult. It also prepares them for the kind of instruction and corrective feedback necessary for their success in any program, not just athletics.

Learning about an athlete’s personal values, practices, motivators, goals, or anxieties can be a challenge for any coach — particularly when one-on-one time is limited. The Premier Mindset Program provides coaches unique insight into their athletes’ mental training through its performance dashboard — which allows coaches to monitor their athletes’ progress and review athletes’ responses to exercises ranging from focus and confidence questionnaires to sleep and general-wellness routines.
